April 1, 2007-Weekend report-Part 1 of two parts-Updated

I related in past issues about how my furniture was removed from my house by city sheriffs due to a foreclosure BUT after I endured a FIRE at 1415-17 Capitol Avenue in Bridgeport, CT. While I was recuperating from the fire and seeking alternative shelter, two sheriffs showed up and a truck. They did a good job of removing it all and I got everything important to me, so I thought. Then I lost track of time. I was told that I had two weeks to retrieve the furniture or it would go to the dump. I had to go for a physical and I forgot about the time element, I lost track of time. I also suffer from anxiety and panic attacks and a host of illnesses and I am up in years BUT that didn't STOP the corrupters in Bridgeport, CT. There was no mercy shown me and no one can tell me where my belongings were taken to or for that matter, no one could quote the page and letter of the law including the sheriffs in charge. When I was told my furniture had to be taken and placed in storage and told I had two weeks to retrieve it, I was told that was the law. I asked for the letter of the law,volume and page number and NONE OF THE OFFICIALS THAT QUOTED THE LAW KNEW IT, they didn't know the number of the law nor the page number. I even wrote to the Governor and she failed to respond. I was displaced because of the fire and I had to seek shelter somewhere. That was my immediate problem. Yet the city officials and their attorneys, Quatrella & Rizio and their ace henchman, Robert Golger continued to appear in court to seek my eviction. The buyer's attorney, Robert Lesser's son, STANTON LESSER, represented the owners of NOVA REALTY. I thought the owners of NOVA were my friends and I was the one who told NOVA about my circumstances seeking advice. NOVA double crossed me. Just because they are REALTORS doesn't protect one. This is the big misconception of the Real Estate Board and the term REALTORS, people think that are dealing with honest professionals. What a big LIE! Yes, there are honest brokers but there are also a bunch of crooks that call themselves REALTORS. NOVA not only acts as a broker but as a buyer, so if they have a listing that is a good deal, NOVA will BUY it and SELL the overpriced properties to YOU, the CONSUMER! I did not know this at the time. NOVA should have disclosed it to me. A good axiom for REALTORS: If a Realtor , such as NOVA, is also an investor, buyer or competitor of his customers, thus should be disclosed. Here's one for the REAL ESTATE COMMISSION to ponder over.

Okay, all of the above may not be important to YOU but it is important to me! It should be important to you as what happened to me can happen to you or your family if they are unfortunate enough to live in Bridgeport or Fairfield, yes Fairfield too is corrupt. Stratford is also corrupt and one can't keep up with it all! We live in a city and cities and in a state that operates under GESTAPO tactics and is run by a bunch of crooks and a druggie for a mayor. Fabrizi recently went to court and asked for leniency for a young man who had illegal sex with a young girl. The proverbial crap hit the fan and now everybody and their brother want to run for mayor. All the corruptors want to be the next corrupt mayor of Bridgeport. IT seems evident Fabrizi is going DOWN for the Fall!

Who can replace Fabrizi? Will it be State Rep or whatever he is, CARUSO? He is given a lot of publicity in the Connecticut Post but the guy is in my opinion, a "sicko." He used to work for LUPES on Main Street and it seems he never held down any job whatsoever. He used to sit down in a booth at Friendly's Ice Cream Parlor and devour one ice cream Sunday after another. He would sit there for hours doing this until the management forbade him from coming into the store as he tied up an entire both for hours. He never married. People have reported some strange things about him but I haven't been able to prove them. Yes, even in this simple publication, we have to publish the truth. When I render an opinion, I so state.

All the others, seem to be tied in and working for PAUL TIMPANELLI and PHIL KUCHMA. Even the mayor renders his state of the union address to this group. I have stated that the FEDS should investigate TIP(Timpanelli) and his group and how they have coerced people into becoming members such as SAL DINARDO, who was pressured into joining. KUCHMA gets a lot of business from People's Bank and is tied in with all the corruptors. Peoples wants to go 100% public now and I recommended a vote AGAINST their proposal.

The real problem is they , the politicians, are all BAD. Even the Governor has not replied to my letter and I know she reads everyone or has her staff read them. But whatever, no reply. In case you are wondering, I lived in that house at 1415-17 Capitol Avenue in Bridgeport, CT for over 60 years. My wife took ill with cancer and that took all my time and money. I had my own physical problems and we had no children, so we were on our own. That is another cost of the dreaded disease of cancer, the time and money it costs and the obligations you omit because of the cancer. After her death and by the way, Fabrizi, who wasn't mayor then but in the running, came to my wife's funeral. After her death, I went into a lengthy state of depression and mourning. Fabrizi was very helpful THEN before he got into office. But as soon as Fabrizi thought he was safe at home when he took office, he unleashed Quatrella & Rizio, LLC and their ace attorney, Robert Golger to go after me and foreclose. Fabrizi is a LOW LIFE as recently evidenced in the press.He also violated an old political axiom, he didn't keep his word. He lies and has lied. The problem Fabrizi has as well as the City and State is that Fabrizi was buying ILLEGAL DRUGS from ILLEGAL SOURCES which Fabrizi refuses to divulge. If the ILLEGAL DRUG DEALERS FEAR FABRIZI'S BETRAYAL, that situation places our city and state at risk. There may be a Gang Style warfare. There is a reason why Fabrizi spoke up in court for a drug addict and there may be more to this than meets the eye. I am not kidding nor exaggerating.
The TAX COLLECTOR, ROBERT TETREAULT, who pursued me for all these years along with Quatrella & Rizio, LLC has RETIRED and LEFT TOWN. I wonder why? Just as he was in the midst of victory, he disappears. This is very strange.

One keeps reading in the POST of all the grandiose building projects that Bridgeport officials plan and included in these stories, which the POST has been flaunting for years, is the project next to the BLUEFISH stadium. These stories are always written by BILL CUMMINGS who has been writing them for years. He deludes himself and his readers. This along with STEAL POINT will never come to pass.

I should like to tell you a story about how I was evicted from my lifelong home. Some of the facts are known to many of my readers, but I repeat some facts for our new readers .

I was evicted from 1415-17 Capitol Avenue in Bridgeport, CT, my home since I was seven years old. I lived there for some 62 years. Actually, the court stated I could remain there for six months but a fire, a set fire took place, and I know it was set as the Fire Marshall told me so. Since that fire, I called the Fire Marshall numerous times and I kept getting the run around but never the Fire Marshall. But the fire was definetly ARSON. There was not a word in the Connecticut Post about the fire, which happened to be the only fire that ever took place on that particular block. There was no investigation held to my knowledge. Here it is, a set fire and no investigation. Well, what do you or I expect in CORRUPTICUT? What do you expect in Bridgeport, CT? An investigation was held by the insurance company and it was assured that the new owners did not start the fire and were paid off. The house, valued at over $305,000 was sold for $177, 500. After the insurance paid off, they probably got the house for free.

The reason I fell behind in my taxes was due to the fact that my beloved wife, Ellen, was ill for four years prior to her death and I delayed paying the taxes as funds were needed for medical and other living expenses. I even went on state welfare for my wife's care.

It is a long complex story and I will try to shorten it as much as I can. Four years passed since the death of my wife. Even during her illness, I was publishing this newsletter on the Internet and it went to thousands of readers at no cost. When my wife died, Fabrizi came to the funeral with his then top aide, LOU BEVILAQUA, who has vanished after Fabrizi won election. Where is BEVILAQUA now, no one seems to know.

Prior to election, Fabrizi feared this newsletter. After he won, he ceased communicating with me. Then Bevilaqua was banished. Bevilaqau expressed shock when Mayor Fabrizi came into his office after winning, Lou said, "Hello, John," and Fabrizi said: "It's no more John, call me Mr. Mayor or Mayor Fabrizi." Now the we learned of Fabrizi's drug, alcohol and gambling problem, what is his name now? MUD?

I suffer from a series of maladies, too lenthy to bore you with, but my main one is anxiety attacks. In short, I am DISABLED. I also am over 65 years old and found that there appears to really be no help from any state agencies for me. This too is a long story as I have tried and I am trying to get more benefits but it is a struggle. I contacted many lawyers, including lawyers who belong to the Greek church, all to no avail. They wanted big fat fees up front. Two of these lawyers are Parish Council members of the Church.

I had two weeks to retrieve my furniture and belongings after they were taken by the city and placed in storage. I lose tract of time, but today, I found that my belongings were held for two weeks, the two weeks went by, and no one knows what happened to my belongings,

In Bridgeport, there are a lot of siezures similar to mine. But I kept asking the city officials, "Where is my furniture and belongings now?" NO ONE KNOWS! I venture to say that they didn't go to the dump as they had once told me , but went into someone's house, someone who works for the city. The state and feds should investigate where seized possessions, when a foreclosure takes place by the City of Bridgeport, go after the two week period is passed. The two week period is a state law, so state legislators should specify where the belongings go after the two week period expires.

My experiences have shaken my confidence, if I had any to begin with in Father Demetrios Recachinas of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church on Park Avenue. On numerous occassions I asked for his help and he rendered some help but not enough to carry me through the ordeal. I was actually speaking to Rev. Recachinas, thinking I was speaking to the Church. However, I found out later that the church membership did not know anything about my ordeal. There are churches, where if a member gets in any type of trouble, the whole congregation, comes out to help BUT not at Holy Trinity. It is the domain of one man, Father Recachinas. the Parish Council members are "rubber stamps" or stooges ready to follow the leader, Father Recachinas, wherever he leads.

The Greek Church, I refrain to use the real name of it, as it is too holy a name, is like a Peyton Place for those who recall the tune. The past president of the Parish Council, Anastas Kaklamanos, who was a widower, married Mrs. Phil Daston, who divorced Phil Daston, who became a parish council member but who has since passed on. As mentioned in previous letters, there is the case of Dr. Haralambos Souvlis, who was a known abortionist and who botched up an abortion so bad he was ousted from the medical profession. Rev. Recachinas allowed his wife to hold a dinner for him in the Church hall where hundreds of so called Faithful Greek Orthodox came to honor a baby killer when their Church's position is against abortion. Why? Because the Greeks and church leaders at this church worship the all mighty dollar instead of all Mighty God, in my opionion.

In the meantime, Rev. Recachinas earns over $150,000 a year and is the only priest in the parish. The parish continues to pay him this sum and even increases in the next year. He is well into the $150,000 range.

I can go on and on but I had it. I will inform my Archbishop Demetrios, a great guy and wonderful Archbishop, that I am resigning from the Church on Park Avenue but not from Orthodoxy. A do nothing Church can do nothing to help me or save souls. They do have, however, a wonderful weekend in Athens event every year, where even gambling takes place as they raffle off a car and Father R draws the winning ticket.

I better understand what Jesus meant when he said, "You have made my Father's house into a den of thieves." The problem is that Father R doesn't comprehend these facts.

Next year will be Recachinas 25 year anniversary at the Church.

Well, the Greeks don't know anything, really they don't know about Christianity, but they do know how to cook a good roast beef dinner with a Greek salad and Feta Cheese.

Well, Reverend Father Demetrios Recachinas called me today in relation to my last newsletter about him and others. He wasn't a happy camper! If we were Roman Catholic, I think he would assign me a bunch of indulgences and maybe nail me to the stake and burn me alive as the Roman Catholic hierachy did to Joan of Arc. Well, four hundred years later they pronounced her a saint, didn't they?, so maybe there is still hope for me.
But Father Recachinas definetley does look like
Ivan Rasputin, doesn't he? I better lay off this one as we are into Lent and I want to participate in the Holy Week traditions and services. In today's POST there is a section of photos on the Greek Orthodox Holy Week or pics of last week's liturgy celebrating the Sunday of Orthodoxy.

Part 11-Other news were waiting to read about

The Feds raided two houses of prostitution, one in Fairfield and one in Stratford, yet no further info has been forthcoming on these issues. The public has the right to know who frquented such institutions. The Feds have a long list of names but remain silent and have kept the names secret. The people have a right to know!

There seems to be as much corruption in Stratford and Fairfield as there is in Bridgeport. As I said, the Feds must increase their efforts and even their staff.

Many people express shock and dismay that a mayor can admit to being a drug addict on Cocaine, a substance difficult to cease , being an alcoholic and an illegal gambler to boot and remain in office. Now how many major cities of over 150,000 people have a JUNKIE BOOZHOUND GAMBLER as its MAYOR and are forced to condone such a situation?
Why do we in Bridgeport have to put up with such madness and have our mayor tested and retested and have a panel oversee his progress? The panel, by the way, according to Connecticut Post, hasn't met in months. But why should we have to put up with this rot? If the mayor is a junkie, addicted to illegal drugs and alcocol, FORCE him OUT of OFFICE! The GOVERNOR and all public officials should refuse to have anything to do with Mayor Fabrizi. That in itself would force him out but GOVERNOR RELL continues to pose with Fabrizi as if she condones his illegalities, and Conneticut Post puts these photos of Fabrizi and Rell on the front page. Doesn't RELL know when she is being USED?

The KEY is to go back to a TWO-YEAR TERM for Mayor! The FOUR year term has brought nothing but havoc to Bridgeport!

Did you read that story in Connecticut Post(yea it's okay to read it again) on page one by Susan Silvers entitled, "New Law KO's Democratic Committee Chairman?" It tells of a new law that won't allow John F. Stafstrom, Jr. to retain his seat as Chairman of the Democratic party due to a conflict as his firm, Comley & Reeves, which handles the city's bond issues. The truth is that the real boss of the Party, who resigned his seat as Chairman to help Fabrizi win, is Testa of Testo's Restuarant. He resigned in name only but still calls the shots. By the way, Comley & Reeves, used to be known as Comley, Bradley, Reeves and :"I forgot the fourth guy's name"
The two main critics within the Democratic Party, Caruso and Walsh, won't talk to me. I thought that we had a lot in common but they both hate me with a vengeance. This means to me that their anti-Fabrizi remarks aren't anti-corruption remarks but more, "its my turn now" remarks, if you know what I mean.
Caruso never held a full time job other than one he once had at Lupe's Pharmacy. I saw him at Friendly's gobbling down one ice cream soda after another and I reprimanded him about the matter as a concern for his health. He wasn't too happy about my concern. There are also other vile rumors circulating about Caruso that I can't publish until verified. He has however been banned from Friendly's as he takes up a whole booth and stays there for hours. Talking of buying politicos, it won't take more than about 50 ice cram sodas to put Caruso in your back pocket.
Walsh once shared a seat in the North End of Bridgeport with Liz Parilaze(whatever) and she hates me also. So because she hates me, Walsh does too. No reformer here just a loud mouth with no teeth.
It appears that since writing and publishing this newsletter, a lot of people hate me including Mayor Fabrizi, Quatrella & Rizio and their ace attorney,GOLGER and most Democratic officials. Now if they hate me so much, I must be on the right track.

So far the best display of hate came from former state rep Attorney LEE SAMOWITZ. I revealed a lot about Lee herein and evidently, the FBI went to visit him and questioned him for several hours. When Lee and his wife, who just finished a pizza at the Brick Oven on Capitol Avenue, saw me, they both started yelling expletive deletives at me at the top of their lungs. The fact that they had their children with them plus some neighbor's kid, didn't deter them.They really shocked me as I thought lawyers were more reserved. On they went as I strolled back to my then house, yelling and screaming like wild animals. I guess I bring out the worst in crooks.
SAMOWITZ was once partners with GARY RAYTAR who founded the Korean Massage Parlor on the Post Road in Fairfield that was recently raided by officials as the girls there were engaging in prostitution, a fact I informed ANDY BROPHY about over five years ago. BROPHY was ordered to lay off the story by his boss, JOHN SCHWING, the known strory killer at the Post.
Despite all, SAMOWITZ is still loved by state rep KEELEY.

It goes on and on and involved in all this corruption is PEOPLES BANK, which now wants to go truly public, yet is in the midst of all the corruption. This bank should be investigated first on a more thorough level. More about Peoples coming up in our next edition and their union with Comley & Reeves.

The POST is coming around, on their web page it has a special section which clearly shows all the conflicts in Bridgeport and the State of CT. Maybe the kid hired to be in charge of the web page is all right.

If you find that I tend to repeat certain subjects, it is because we get new readers all the time, and I repeat certain subjects for their information.

In continuing my story about the Greek Church in Bridgeport, Holy Trinity, I have to mention the story about how the late Mary James left in her will that her valuable property in Southport, CT center be used, that is the income from the property be used to support five elderly ladies of Greek and Albanian descent. The court later ruled,due to my insitence, that the funds go to the Greek and Albanian churches.

Back in the 60's and 70's, I was a regular visitor to Southport, CTas I had an office in Fairfield, CT and a post office box in Southport, CT. There was a man by the name of Jimmy Soter who ran a local grocery store in the center and was a trustee of the James estate as were other tenants in the building. The head trustee was the late Nick Fingelly, a Realtor, whose daughters now operate the firm.

Fingelly wanted to inherit the property as he was the only living relative of Mrs. James. Mrs. James' real name was Checkinas. Her late husband, back in 1937 when Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church was built on Myrtle Avenue in Bridgeport, CT, Mr. James or Checkinas donated $1,000 for the privilege of opening the doors to the new church edifice. Now back in those depression era years, $1,000 was equal to a small fortune in today's money.

Mrs. James lived in a two family house behind the stores she owned. She was a friend of my grandmother. She had to be hospitalized because of illness, and when she got out of the hospital, she spoke with my grandmother and related her complaint that all who came to see her and wish her well, including Nick Fingelly and even the then Greek priest, came with documents for her to sign, granting them the rights to her properties. The Greek priest sought the properties be donated to the church.

The money never went to the purposes that Mrs. James intended. I sat in all annual sessions of the probate court under four or five judges over the years. Then came Judge Caruso. That's a long story and I feel a fine example of how the Probate Courts in CT have to be revised as many of the judges are crooked. I once told Caruso to his face that he is a crook. He didn't even blash an eyelash.

The other previous judges all agreed with me totally and ordered the trustees to give annual amounts to the Greek Church and to the Albanian Church to disperse confidentially to needy elderly Greek ladies. Thousands of dollars were dispersed over the years.

Then one day, while I was a member of the Holy Trinity Greek O.Church's parish council, a call came into the parish council meeting headed then by one Bill Pappas. There are never any calls during such meetings but Pappas stated that the now late Nick Demas, of the now defunct Mary Journey's Inn, was on the phone with a message. The message was" if George Mougios continues to attend hearings in the Probate Court regarding the Mary James estate, the trustees will stop sending moneys to the churches and instead donate it to the two local hospitals, St. Vincent's and Bridgeport Hospital. President Pappas tried to turn this against me and make me look like a culprit, when Perry Kokinos, owner of the Bridgeport Flyer Diners, stated: " what is this? The money from the James estate doesn't go to our church but to needy elderly ladies. We don't even see the money nor know to whom it goes as this is done by the Philopochos Society. If it wasn't for George, there would not be any money going to the churches at all."

Perry added, "What is this call from Demas during our meeting all about?" Bill Pappas, rebuffed, immediately changed the subject and dropped the matter.

To make a long story shorter, Caruso allowed the Trust to break away from the court and allowed it to sell the properties. The late Harris Russell, owner of the Russell Agency, supported everything I stated herein. Russell ended up buying the building that housed his firm but he supported my position all the way.

My main catalyst was the late JAMES SOTER, a wonderful man loved by everybody in Southport. A plaque to his memory has been erected in Southport center. He urged me to bring the truth to light.

Where the money is now or the Fund, no one seems to know but Bill Pappas and Nick Phakias, two Greeks were made trustees of the James estate. Members of the Albanian Church are also officers. But where is the trust?

The one thing I always stated was that as long as the Trust owns property in Southport, the trust will always have a huge net worth. Now that property has been sold , thanks to Judge Caruso, the Trust is worth only a portion of what it was worth. The Southport property is now worth many times what it was sold for. Again, over my objections.

But where is the Trust now? Attorney General Bluementhal was directly involved and the Trust had to account to him but Bluementhal says he doesn't know where the fund is now. I was told it was still under his jurisdiction, but he denies it.

So where is the Trust handled by trustees that can't be trusted. Now that Nick Phakias, the photographer, who is a member of the trust, is moving to Florida, someone has to be appointed to take his place. I wonder who?
